And the Son wasn't near cell's face.

You are grasping at straws, first you went in universe then you went out, to explain why you feel its necessary to pretend vegeta could even HURT cell much less do anything else like make cell lose his concentration. Cell wasnt distracted, and why not refer to my saying that EVERYONE was shooting at cell. NOT just vegeta who did a useless big bang attack which pretty much sizzled off of cells ki shield. Cell was in full control and was pushing full power, he had nothing else to give. He was talkiing and jaunting the z fighters the whole time, he was multi tasking and doing 3 or four things at once easily. He's an android not a normal human. So to say that a supercomputer like cell was distracted from his goal simply because he addresed vegeta is wishful thinking. Cell was overpowered plain and simple. Gohan pushed with his untapped rage fully blown and cell couldnt defend against it. That ALSO was made very clear in both the manga and anime. So for you to claim that vegetas distraction meant anything other than him NOT being dead as cell was suggested to believe? Is saying that you didnt believe what you read, you would rather put your own spin on it. Cell in NO way, was hurt, distracted or even stressed about the situation he was in, he was so confident he was running his mouth like he was the narrator of destruction. Posts: 2,526 Group: Duplicate Member #6,436 Joined: July 1, 2011	- Vegeta had little to do with it because Vegeta rushed off as a SSJ and did nothing to Cell. - The anime scene of everyone rushing off to attack Cell never happened in the manga. At most, Piccolo screamed about how powerless he was at the moment. Still doesn't change that Base Vegeta can't do what SSJ Vegeta couldn't which is be a real distraction to Cell.

He worked like a normal being, there was never really a time in DBZ when Cell showed to have super intelligence, much less the ability to be undistracted by everything. You're saying he has special powers like this just because he's an Android. Well he's only nade with Cells from the Z fighters and none of the Cells he got have any magical powers that stops them from being distracted. It's not wishful thinking it's just obvious. I won't deny that Gohan may have had a sudden burst of rage at that exact moment too but Vegeta did play a part in it. Look at the manga scans, it's clear he was distracted. Also he never thought Vegeta was dead in the first place, why would he? The blast he was going to finish him off with was blocked by Gohan, he had no reason to think Vegeta was dead. Now you're putting your own spin on things. I'll say that I'm not trolling, because, with how I'm going about Cell not being affected by Vegeta, one could eventually get that impression. Looking at that pic, Vegeta, in no way, affects Cell's power whatsoever. I'm not a particularly good example of multitasking, but I'm should someone could even find a YouTube link of the "incredible, multitasking person that can talk on the phone and french-braid hair while pushing out an insanely large Kamehameha wave." My point would be that Cell addressing Vegeta's action doesn't necessarily mean that Cell's power drops, that Cell stops pushing altogether, that Cell slacks on his push and his wave becomes weaker because of it, that Cell's slacking would have actually mattered given the huge advantage that he already had during that struggle. But yeah... I'm not overly obsessed with killing the Cell > Gohan mindset. I'm just particularly set on showing things that support Gohan > Cell, as Gohan did win the battle with substantial damage. I feel like giving sole credit to base Vegeta is stretching and takes a lot away from Gohan's effort and power.

Well one thing to note is how Vegeta did that just before Cell was going to go for the kill ("Farewell") so it probably stopped him from doing that at the least. But yeah it doesn't necessarily mean it weakened Cell's kamehameha or anything.

Vegeta's distraction just provided Gohan with enough time to pump out all of his power while Cell couldn't continue increasing the power of his attack.

Cell wasn't at full power; a solar system bustin Kamehameha is nothing to Cell. Gohan's burst of energy was just for starts Think of what Gohan could do with another arm Cell hurts Gohan with a weak blast etc.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Bleach	You guys must wanna go watch that episode again? Cell was giving full power. Vegeta managed to hit him in the back with a Big bang attack. It was strong enough to distract cell. Cell's defenses weakened for a second of two, Giving Gohan the amount of time needed to pump up another round of energy. Basic facts, basic facts. ---Gohan was obviously not giving full power. He was giving full power with the only arm he HAD but it was certainly not his best....
